A study presented at the annual meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research shows that the more coffee an adult drinks, the lower the risk of developing basal cell carcinoma.

25,480 cases of skin cancers, including BCC, SCC and melanoma,  were tracked from the mid '80s through June of 2008. Women and men had a 20% and 9%, respectively, reduced chance of developing BCC if they drank 3 or more cups of coffee a day.
