Appointments

We know you have many choices when choosing an dermatologist in New York, NY so we have made requesting an appointment a simple and convenient process via our Web site. If, for any reason you cannot keep a scheduled appointment, or will be delayed, please call us as soon as possible.

Cancellation Policy

We require 24-hour notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. Any appointments cancelled the same day are subject to a $25.00 cancel/rescheduling fee.

Insurance and Billing

We accept most traditional plans.  Please contact our office to verify acceptance of your plan.  Qualifications for insurance coverage may differ due to the uniqueness of each procedure.  We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement.  Dr. Clark also sees patients in other plans in which she does not participate; we find that most patients in other plans are happy with the out-of-network reimbursement they receive.

Two surgical suites and a total of four treatment rooms are available.  Specifically, current procedures available in Dr. Clark’s office include:

• Injection of fillers, including Restylane, Juvederm, Radiesse, Sculptra, silicon and others, applying the new approach of Facial Recontouring when appropriate.

• Laser hair removal of any body area for men and women.
• ColdSculpting, the new way to reduce areas fat permanently through application of cold via the Zeltiq device.
• Laser treatment of acne scarring and acne.
• Laser treatment of wrinkling of face, neck, and chest.
• CoolSculpting, the new way to reduce areas of fat permanently through application of cold via the Zeltiq device.
• Radiofrequency treatments of wrinkling and skin laxity of face, neck, chest, and abdomen.
• Laser treatment of brown spots of face and body.
• Laser treatment of scars and tattoos.
• Microdermabrasion for poor skin tone, brown marks, or open pores.
• Chemical peels for acne, brown spots, wrinkling and poor skin tone.
• Biopsies of rashes, moles, skin cancers, and excisions or other treatments for these conditions.
• Cryotherapy, snip excision, or curettage of skin tags and other unwanted growths.
• Dermoscopy of suspicious growths, to determine whether a biopsy may or may not be indicated.  This is a critical step in the diagnosis of atypical moles, melanoma, other skin cancers, and other conditions, and often spares the patient from having unnecessary surgery, while allowing Dr. Clark to make more accurate diagnoses.

Much can be accomplished just by using medicated creams, lotions, and gels, even without any procedures, and Dr. Clark stocks a wide variety of such preparations for your purchase. Each and every one of these products has been carefully vetted for safety, efficiency, and reasonable cost, and is not stocked unless a comparable and effective product is not available by prescription or over-the-counter at a lower cost. Medicated products are available to treat eczema and contact dermatitis, acne, psoriasis, rosacea, wrinkling, and aging of the skin, sun damaged skin, sensitive skin, dry skin, skin prone to sunburn, puffy eyes, dark circles, bruising, dandruff, folliculitis, scarring, and discoloration.
