Dr. Linda Tao, MD is an interventional cardiologist turnedhealth solution designer focused on personalized whole body system optimization, preventative healthcare, and chronic disease management. She uses science-based, laboratory guided, personalized nutritional support, lifestyle modification,and research backed natural healing methods whenever possible. With these techniques her patients report better energy and stamina, clearer thinking, restful sleep, less digestive symptoms of bloating, gas and irregular bowel movements, and much improved mood. Often, these personalized methods have resulted in the need for fewer over the counter and prescription medications.
Dr.Tao began her medical training at the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine and completed her internship, residency and fellowship training at NYU Langone and Bellevue Hospital Medical Centers. A double Board-Certified physician in Cardiovascular Diseases and Internal Medicine, Dr. Tao is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center, and has been on the teaching faculty atthe New York University School of Medicine for the past 24 years.
Ten years ago, she powerfully experienced for herself the efficacy of using highly targeted nutritional supplementation and lifestyle modification to cure an unusual stomach cancer instead of following the recommendations of international uber specialists to have her stomach removed. She subsequently engaged in intensive study in the area of functional and integrative medicine and nutritional sciences, and changed the direction of her medical practice. In addition to completing an Advanced Fellowship in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine.
