Edan is a licensed massage therapist (LMT), Osteopathic Manual Therapist (OMT) and structural educator/mobility coach.
A graduate of the prestigious Swedish Institute, holding an Associates of Occupational Health Sciences, Edan is also a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) an Associate member of the Society of Ortho-Bionomy International (SOBI) – www.Ortho-Bionomy.org and certified in the FMS (Functional Movement Screen).
Edan is no stranger to pain and suffering. His past experiences with debilitating illnesses have given him the experience and capacity to work with others who suffer from pain.
Edan used to be one of those sports massage therapists who would dig his elbows into your back to provide you with some temporary relief until he discovered Ortho-Bionomy and how it’s possible to get better results without the use of aggressive force.
He discovered this unique system of healing when he hurt his foot dancing back in 2007 and he asked one of his teachers in massage school to have a look at it. In just seconds after a few subtle movements of his foot, the pain permanently vanished!
That’s when Edan decided to dedicate his life to learning Ortho-Bionomy and to utilize it’s principles within his sessions to help others in the same way it helped him.
In his free time, Edan enjoys dancing and other movement arts (such as hand balancing and the Ido Portal Method), in-line skating and longboarding, slacklining, biking, snowboarding, surfing, traveling and spending time in nature.
